Urangatang Web Design – Project Manager/Technical Lead

Serving as project manager and software engineer for a variety of projects for several organizations while providing technical skills in software development and configuration as well as database modeling.  Project management role includes writing of proposals and contracts, presentation, negotiation and approval of contracts, software demonstrations (live or webinar), project scheduling, determination of team roles and assignment of team members as well as all steps initiating and leading up to completion of project.  Leadership also includes planning of future phases with customers, development of support or additional agreements for enhancements or fulfillment of new business objectives.  Developing corporate websites using Dreamweaver, PHP, mySQL, SQL 2000, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, etc.  Development includes coding with various frameworks and tools (Cake, CodeIgniter, Smarty, etc.) using MVC pattern.  Installation, configuration and customization of open source applications such as Joomla, Dolphin, phpFox, Drupal, OpenRealty, osCommerce, CubeCart, etc.  Designing and maintaining websites for various clients using Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005, Dreamweaver, Flash, ActionScript 2.0, Flash remoting, JavaScript, Adobe Acrobat, Sound Forge and other tools.  Developing websites and GUI applications using C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, XML and Web Services using reusable components and techniques designed to partition presentation layer, business logic and data manipulation across multiple tiers.  For database-driven sites, designing and coding stored procedures and triggers using Microsoft SQL Server, mySQL or Microsoft Access 2000 database functionality.
Projects Completed:
Virginia EMS (Emergency Medical Services) councils – discussed business objectives with primary contact of councils and wrote proposal package and contract in response to RFP.  When several competitors were selected to provide demonstrations before final decision, provided webinar demonstration and negotiated final enhancements and pricing to win project over competitors. Assigned team members to build 13 websites for each of the state of Virginia’s regional emergency medical services councils, using the same technology and providing them their desired similarity in look and functionality.  Wrote conversion routines to convert customer’s existing large, static HTML websites into content management systems’ databases.  Developed PowerPoint presentation and written materials for one-day training session which I personally instructed for a group of over 20 persons.  Coordinated testing process and move of all sites to production.  A few of the sites are:

Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center  – served as project manager; wrote proposal package and contract, negotiated contract to build several websites and virtual school for large church in northern NJ.  Overseeing graphics, Flash and website design.  Also modeled database, wrote stored procedures and triggers and designed Flash interfaces using ActionScript, PHP and mySQL.  Developed customer interfaces in PHP as required.  Met with customer in person to address current and future objectives.  Developed the following websites:

Lifeline Nutraceuticals (www.protandim.com) – developing product and global orphanage foundation websites using ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML and XML with a SQL Server 2000 database in the background.  Designed database and wrote database stored procedures and triggers required to handle data validations, integrity of data and nightly batch operations.  Developed ASP code to handle eCommerce transactions using Authorize.net AIM method, daily batch jobs (which included recurring billing) and XML interfaces which processed orders and initiated shipping between online storefront, distribution and call centers.  When product was favorably reviewed on Good Morning America, ensured that load balancing of site would prevent downtime due to anticipated concurrent hits from prospective customers.

KDM & Associates, LLC
Developed website using Dreamweaver and Flash for corporation specializing in the development of businesses and strategic partnerships for the government sector.  Project included addition of pages to website while also modifying existing pages.  Also configured list serve and added customer emails to provide subscriber mailing list.
